Built for independent restaurant operators

Your whiteboard can't tell you who cleaned the fryer.

Prepli gives your back-of-house accountable task lists. Employees complete their station's tasks, enter what's asked, and upload photos where you need proof. You see who did what — even when you're not there.

Running a restaurant
shouldn't mean guessing
what actually got done.

"

Your closer checked everything off. You walked in the next morning to a grill that clearly hadn't been touched.

"

Somebody put a checkmark on the whiteboard. Nobody can tell you who — or whether they actually did it.

"

There was a health inspection. You had no record of who completed the walk-in checks, or when.

"

A prep cook free-poured through their whole shift. By the time service started, you had no idea what you had on hand.

You built this restaurant. You know how it should run. But the moment you're not in the kitchen, a whiteboard can't tell you what actually happened.

Independent restaurants have never had a real accountability layer. Until now.

One task. One name.
Done — or follow up.

Step 1

Set up your stations and tasks once

Add your back-of-house stations and the tasks that run them — opening checklists, closing routines, recurring cleaning schedules, prep counts. Takes a few minutes. You only do it once.

Step 2

Employees pick their station and get to work

Employees get a setup link when you add them to Prepli — one click to create their account. From then on, they go to prepli.co, log in, and see their task list for the day. No app store, no IT setup.

Step 3

You see who did what

Every completed task is tied to a name. Review what was logged, check the photos, and know exactly who to talk to if something wasn't done right — or right enough.

Accountability built into every task.

👤

Named Accountability

Every task completion is attached to an employee name. Not a checkmark — a record you can act on. When something wasn't done right, you know exactly who to follow up with.

📷

Photo Proof

Require a photo for tasks where seeing is believing. Condensing coil cleaning, walk-in wipe-downs, equipment checks. Review it from anywhere — before a health inspection, after an equipment problem.

📋

Station-Based Task Lists

Tasks go to stations, not people. Employees filter to their station and see exactly what's theirs each shift. No confusion, no missed handoffs.

📊

Data Capture

Turn prep counts into records. Employees enter on-hand numbers as part of their task — so you have the data, not just a checkmark.

🌡️

Temperature Monitoring

Automated logging and alerts the moment a reading goes outside range. Designed for operators ready to add real-time equipment visibility on top of operations management.

Built by someone who built it for the chains.

For six years, I was an engineering manager at a Fortune 500 company building operations software for some of the largest restaurant chains in the world. Task accountability, photo verification, named completion — these weren't new ideas. The chains have had them for years.

Independent operators never did. The tools were built for companies with IT departments and dedicated operations managers. Not for someone who's also running the floor, placing orders, and handling the books.

I built Prepli to bring that same accountability to restaurants like yours — without the enterprise overhead, and without losing the human side of running a small business.

We're launching Fall 2026. We want your input first.

Before we go live, we're building a small group of early testers in the Salt Lake Valley — operators who have a clear sense of what would make running their kitchen easier. Not in the area? We'd still love your input, and you'll be first in line when we expand.

  • A short survey so your feedback shapes what we build first
  • Priority access when we launch this fall
  • Special early adopter pricing — locked in before we go public
  • Direct line to the team to share questions or ideas
